New car tires , never last , most don’t ride good., buy a good set of michelins and don’t look back, they drive better in the rain , are quieter and out last any other tire, your child is in that car at times ,buy good tires

Belts, tires, hoses... all rubber and any one of them will leave you on the side of the road. Buy the best ones you can.

And batteries too.

@EugenFJR I'll shoot you a text when I'm headed down if you wanna go

Okay cool. It's the wife's birthday this weekend, so I'm not sure what she wants to do Saturday. She might actually go to work on Saturday to get some IT work done with no one around to disrupt her. But shoot me a text, when you're heading out.

Anyone know anything about tires? Wife's camry current ones ain't even last 25k seems like shit to me

I'm not a tire expert but I have driven quite a bit on the interstates driving back and forth between Ft. Knox and Ft. McCoy. The factory Goodyear's on my old Nissan, were great tires as well as the Yokohamas I replaced them with. The Factory Goodyear Wrangler SR-A's on my RAM 1500 were fucking trash, I took them off after only 5k on my new truck.

The factory Hankook tires on my wife's car lasted about 40k... but then again they are sport tires, and my wife likes to "curb" the car. So there was a slight issue with her cars alignment when I replaced her tires a few days ago.

Other than that, she drives pretty slow, and in traffic most of the time. Her birthday present from me was a new set of tires and a alignment.

Did you buy the car used, but it had new tires on it? If so, the used car dealer could have put winter tires on it, and those wear out much faster since they are made with much softer materials, in comparison to all season tires.

So far I've been happy with my new truck (and tires) it drives more like a car, fits in parking spaces, gets more than 14 mpg, and doesn't have the same turn radius as the Death Star. But I do miss the interior space of my 1500, and I'll miss the heated seats and steering wheel this winter.
