Well his car was stolen and he had his gear in it. Pretty cool talking to him. The shield is not the OG shield. So I’m gonna try to find out who was attached too and get a shield for it. Has a super faded NY rangers hockey sticker on it. Hearing his stories are pretty neat. Wish I could hear them in person. We are gonna swap a patch and T shirt

I posted that lid on a helmet page on favebook for helPing ID the year and my inbox has been blowing up with offers. $800ish. Then once LT verified the story, I’ve had 1300 dollar offers. that is nuts but this is priceless and will never be sold. He did say the shield wasn’t original and to put the 233 shield on it. This helmet has seen some crazy fires and was there at the twin towers
