@Fast306stang be mindful on the new growth on those Crape Myrtle's to watch for aphids. They usually hang out on the underside the leaves and they will leave an excretion that will turn black(sooty mold). It will make the tree look like shit and when it rains it will stain whatever is underneath it.

Also, if you're gonna prune them every year the best time to do it is around March.

I use only non ethanol gas.
And $500 should be a pro level saw.
I have several echo products that I let sit all winter with gas in the tank, have never changed a plug, have never done anything. All will start in 4 pulls or less.
Fuck Stihl
Stihl and Husqvarna pro chainsaws start at around $600 (261C or 550xp). Their loyalty grew but they had to compete by putting out lower level junk which I would never buy.
$500 won’t get a new pro saw from them today but you can get a new Echo (Japanese) or a Makita (Dolmar, German) that work well.
