I thought that was part of the initial issue that started this. L3 was putting out a product for military contracts that had sub par performance and they knew it. I doubt there would be a military contract to use the returned and defective sights for military contract product.
I didn't say the US military

and you didn't either, but the people's sweaty nad republic of eastern buttswana needs some new sights for their ragged ass FNFALS.

Let me go back and see- shipped out USPS December 17. EOTech return authorization request/reply was a couple days before that.

Just got the email above today, so looks like about 4 weeks from the day I took it to the Post Office to the day I got the "received and reviewed" email. Still no email saying the check has been cut and mailed.

Friend of mine just showed me a 40 page thread on arfcom- looks like everyone got the same email early this morning.

Mine will arrive at Eotech on Friday. I really like their optics, so a switch to Aimpoint will be tough.

I never really cared for EoTech but made a good trade for it.

And now I'm coming out even more so on top.

Mine made it there Saturday the 23rd
Mine arrived at their facility the 22nd. Still no word from them. No one returned my call, and nobody has responded to two emails.
Screw them. I like the sights, but I'm going all Aimpoint or Trijicon after their crap customer service.

Sounds like whiney bS to me! Have they given data as to the extreme temperature conditions? I am not sure civilians will be dealing with extreme temp conditions when engaged in CQB! Anywho, get your refund and buy something else!

I'll be hunting with mine in Western Nebraska next winter. 0 to -20 is likely every year. I'm not taking any chances when driving 28 hours one way.
