That is my point in all of this was the learning process, and not to mention it was FUN.

Also I just bought this jig and I have the rest of the jigs to do 80 Percent 1911's too.

I will say this guy's tools and shop make me look like an 18 year old with a belt sander and a hacksaw.

But I can do a lot with a Belt Sander too.

Definitely in for a build day at @Balthaz I am a sucker for cool tools/machines!

Hope I can Deliver, I just know how the 80 percent stuff goes.

Oh and BTW I have built AK's From 80 Percent Flats too, I just do not have all the tools anymore as I sold most of them.
This is a Screw Build I still have and it has over 2k rounds down the pipe.

Yeah, I just cannot get into the AK platform enough to want to do one. Just keeping my $400 Wasr because I have around 2k rounds for it...lol

Looks pretty sweet though!

Hi
I am new here and have an AR-15 jig and lower from my first build. I kept 3 glock jigs (dont know if you can buy a blank frame but I kept them anyway), a cruddly handmaid UZI jig and 3 1911 jigs one of which is the checkering jig. Looking for more. Build party would be fun.

The router makes the end result sooooo much nicer than the one I did on a drill press.

The jigs have come a long way from the early days when all we knew to use was a drill press.
With this Router jig all I need is a Sandblast Cabinet and then Anodize the lower, after that you could not tell it from a Production run Lower.
