    Hate shooting in the cold

Trigger-I don't usually shoot more than 20 to 25 rounds at a time before I'm ready to switch. There are always other guns along to shoot and not always enough time. Never had issues with trigger slap before this though, and I attribute it to the cold. Winter sucks.

    LC9 added to carry options

I agree with all.....the LC9 has been an easy adjustment to IWB. Love the gun, and will need to learn to shoot it better. Practice, practice........

    Hate shooting in the cold

I've been shooting and carrying my LCP for over a year now and have been getting used to the little beast. However, I stopped at the free outdoor range that I use to run off a few rounds, and my trigger finger hurt after only 15 rounds or so :o. I've read of other people having this issue, but...

    LC9 added to carry options

I scored a Black Friday deal on an LC9 ($330 w/free shipping) and I'm impressed with its compact size. I've been carrying an LCP for the past year or so, and wanted to move up to a 9mm that I could conceal. You know.....baby steps. The LC9 passed a couple of range outings with flying colors...

Let your representatives in D.C. know how you feel

Thanks Little Honcho for the ruger link! I've received responses from Gov. Branstad, Rep. King, and Sen. Grassley. You made it easy for me to be a part of the voice against useless gun laws and attacks on our rights. Thanks again-I'll be passing it along.

    .380 brass question

RICHGCOOP - wow! You load for a lot of calibers. Lead shot isn't cheap for 12ga. anymore, kinda took the savings out of the equation for trap. Do you "recycle" lead weights or buy it in a bulk form for casting bullets? BTW I have re-load envy.......

    .380 brass question

Bigdogdaddy - that's my thinking also. Just won't shoot them all enough to make it worthwhile. I must admit tho, reading SkipD's re-loading threads reminded me how much I enjoyed loading 12ga. for trap. Hmmmm - call it therapy and buy more re-loading equipment?

    .380 brass question

Thanks RICHGCOOP for the quick reply! I don't know if re-loading is a viable option for me-I would like to load for my 6.5 carcano, 7.62 mosin, 9mm, and my .380. My son has a .270. Not sure if I could shoot all calibers enough to make the re-loading savings a reality. Once the press is...

    .380 brass question

I keep my .380 once fired brass, (the ones I can find back) just in case I would re-load someday. I've re-loaded 12 gauge many years, but handgun ammo re-loading will be new to me. My LCP brass has some "bite" marks (small dents) from the extractor or something in the action. I...
