I suggest contacting the sheriffs office to see what the problem is. MY guess is they couldn't read something on your application, took a guess at it and came up the wrong information.

Wonder if they'll get more states added as we go. I'm not sure there is many more to add though, most the states left don't allow concealed carry or have extremely strict controls over their gun laws.  I'm afraid with Trumps recent political tanking the list is more likely to shrink than expand.

I live in Toledo city limits and you can most definitely not legally shoot on your property. Unless of course you're comitting a drive by or some other illegal act. Most the time if you live outside of city limits in Ohio you can probably get away with it. I know growing up out in the country...

What is the consensus about using less than lethal rounds for home defense? Would it be a good idea to disable and debilitate the threat vs eliminating it completely? I'm wondering for a liability and insurance type need. Would I be better off and likely avoid jail that way, vs killing someone.

Depends on what gun I'm carrying for the day. Right now my carry switches between my FN 5.7 and My FNS9 with a LCP thrown in sometimes. Both are rather large guns for concealed carry but since I'm a fatty its not a big deal. Like you though I almost exclusively carried at the 3 oclock position...

What are the best ways to safely store firearms? I'm in a house which now has small children in it ages 5-9 and need the best methods people are using. Only have a few small handguns and one ar15. Can't afford anything huge safe wise and don't have room really for storing three different small safes
