Excellent idea! Need to check in my area to see if they are doing the same, and if not, suggest they do.

I have a Utah non-resident permit as well (going on 13 years now), and it has served me well when traveling. One caution - make sure you check each state law carefully. At one time there were a couple of states that would recognize a resident permit, but not a non-resident.

Same here. I was lucky enough to buy a very large bulk order of plated bullets back before metal prices soared, so have an ample supply of them for now.

The best thing about this, Denny, is that people yelled stop, and you and the gun weren't hurt. Don't know what gun it was, but if the bullet stuck 'halfway down the barrel', I suspect there may have been at least a little powder in the case. In any event, not matter the cause, as already...

Update - what a great holster! Got mine for a full size 1911, and have carried same and a 4" gun in it as well, with no problems. Very comfortable. Looks like I will be ordering a Pro model for Glock next.
