If cost was no object, I'd look at installing a rear trunion from an NPAP(1mm M70B1). Major surgery required. Couldn't find a linkable pic online. I'm considering doing it to one of mine.

Years ago, there was a brand of shotshells called Activ. They had a wad that held together for about 50-70 yards. Nasty for self defense.

Circle O is generally accepted to be an accuracy proof stamp. The others, I'm not sure of, though they may be found on 7.62x54r.net. You may have a mix of Soviet & Finnish proofs.

Yes, same lower & mags(except the D-60). I run a Kaw Valley powdered tungsten(H2) with super sonic 300. Still has a sharp recoil impulse.

You can either try it & adapt(look for battering on the barrel lugs or extremely tight lock-up) or measure everything & order the length you need. Every gun is slightly different, there is no drop in solution for a match grade 1911.
