It's helpful to see a watch on a more normal sized wrist. The majority of guys on a watch forum seem to have arms the size of an 9 year old girl, and you can never get an accurate sense of watch size from the pictures they take.

You can't go wrong with a canvas NATO. I'm not typically a fan of the striped versions, but that thin pinstripe style looks pretty good. We were discussing Glycine before. I'm looking at the 43mm Combat 6 classic. I'm not knowledgeable on the various Glycine movements. Is the GL224 pretty accurate?

That watch deserves one of these straps.

Not surprising, but it's hard to see $75k there. I was surprised to see that Rolex has a few over $65k.

This one is a Seiko SKX that I've had since 1997. I picked up a second well worn SKX recently, and I made a few modifications this weekend. The dial and hands are pirated from a Seiko field watch, and the movement is upgraded to an NH36A with hand winding capability. The olive NATO band...

    Carnivore Diet

I've listened to two different Joe Rogan podcast with guests talking about their experiences on the carnivore diet. I wouldn't mind trying it for a month to see the effects. Like most things I imagine it will affect individuals in widely varied ways.

Can't Stop the Signal - 3D CAD Gun Plans

The president made his position clear and directed the attorney general to put a proposal together to classify bump stocks as machine guns. Since then the ATF has continued to work on it, and the only thing that will stop it is legal and public resistance.

    Sanding down G10?

It should work on G10, certainly not on micarta. Hitting it a second round with 2000 grit or similar would also work. Hobby Lobby sells packs of sandpaper with incremental grits from 300 to 6000 in 3" sheets for $9. Much cheaper than buying a bunch of individual packs in various grits.

    Sanding down G10?

For what you want to accomplish, using 600 grit to take the sharp peaks off the texture shouldn't take more than 15 seconds, maybe two swipes at it. You shouldn't cause any damage by doing so, but a heat gun set on low will smooth out any rough spots you create.

    Uberti Carbine

The cautions that I've read so far: - the 1873 isn't as strong a design as a model 92 or a Marlin 336, and may not hold up well with the pressures of modern magnum rounds. - accuracy isn't fantastic beyond 50 yards. The Marlin is probably the more logical choice, but these days it's hard to...
