Well, they are inferior to a better iron sight no doubt. I just had one sitting around and slapped it on when I built the gun. It's been rugged enough to stand up to a lot of toting through the brush in the Midwest, but I've ever had to actually use it. The Eotech has been flawless.

Yeah, I have some Darn tough and they probably last longer than Smartwool or Feetures, but they aren't as comfortable as the previously mentioned two. For running, Smartwool and Feetures win all day, for everyday socks Darn Tough will last longer.
