Well ok.

Spikes Lightweight Upper with trailer park furniture and rear sight. Eotech 512, and a RRA lower. I put this together specifically for stand calling coyotes and stalking. I don't do much of that now that I moved down here, but I feel that the same set-up is ideal for zombies as well.
I did find that the Eotech's retical made hitting moving yotes a lot easier than when I had the Aimpoint on it.

Personal preference. If it makes him sleep better at night hating on your sights, so be it. Lol
Well, they are inferior to a better iron sight no doubt. I just had one sitting around and slapped it on when I built the gun. It's been rugged enough to stand up to a lot of toting through the brush in the Midwest, but I've ever had to actually use it. The Eotech has been flawless.

Eotechs are beasts. I just need to get some experience with one. All I have used are microdots

Beasts... All of them
Thanks. I guess I should have added some descriptions. The top one is a recently completed SPR with a genuine Mk12 barrel. The next two are the same SBR. I swapped the Eotech for a T1. The picture with the suppressor is its current configuration. The bottom pic is a complete BCM 14.5 KMR ELW midlength on a form 1 BCM lower. I don't have a decent picture of my KAC SR15 on my phone, but I'll dig one up later.

I wish I could use them...Scar 17's are notorious for destroying Eotech's and aimpoints...something to do with recoil impulse.
