    Public toilets?

I'm looking forward to some Zaxby's or Chick Fil A later today. No sign of wild chickens here yet.

    Public toilets?

I'm on the way to one of those plans right now. YAY!!

    Public toilets?

Field work is one of the things I really like about consulting. I get lots of variety- like they say, the scenery always changes. Of course, some of the time you really don't like the scenery. Tomorrow I'll be taking some field measurements in the "live hanging room" of a chicken processing...

    Public toilets?

Holy cow- I'd love to have a coworker like that! I understand what you're saying about the eagles. I was fairly impressed with American Precious Metals Exchange in Macon- they were willing to match APMEX prices on eagles. Although APMEX definitely isn't the cheapest place to order from...

    Public toilets?

I was going to say "until you draw my name" but that option seems to have been covered :) I'd say a few days to a week, based on traffic. Once everyone who is interested is in, there's no reason to keep it open.

    Public toilets?

Meh... let them do what they want. I haven't been in a Target in a long time. I'm waiting to see unisex, combined bathrooms. Now that would draw complaints... mostly from women I imagine.

    Public toilets?

Check out www.silver.com Free shipping most of the time and I've found their prices on silver eagles to be better than most. Granted the US minted currency is never the cheapest per ounce, but they are harder to counterfeit and generally bring a higher sale price.

    Public toilets?

Well, Happy Birthday! At least I got in on the first day of the thread. Hope it was a good one-

    Public toilets?

Oh how I miss the days working for a huge international company.... I just had to be there eight hours a day and show some progress from month to month (which could be accomplished in a solid 10 hours a month). Now I'm a consultant. The money is great, but if I don't have a job to bill to, I...

    Public toilets?

Hang in there man- I lost half of a big tree a few weeks ago and today my neighbor had a tree guy setting a crane in his backyard. The neighbor on the other side lost a pecan tree- big one... and it fell right on/against my neighbors house. Hope you make it through without too much damage.

    Too much ammo?

Ha... yeah, the guy you trade a case of whiskey to might be and easy target to get most of it back later that night!

You know you're a Mall Ninja when...

Nothing wrong with 1/2 MOA... that is basically a ragged hole at 100 yds. Sounds like a keeper!

    185 or 230 .45acp

I used a bunch of lead 185 grain SWC's in a Ruger P90 when I shot production USPSA. That stinking gun would eat them like candy. I think I had 3.8 or 4.0 grains of Bullseye in that load- it was just enough to cycle the action for faster follow up shots. I realize this is a poor way to train...

You know you're a Mall Ninja when...

Just givin' ya a hard time... I ran into the same thing with a build- as me about the bull barrel money pit... back when I read more than I shot. I've got a .223 that weighs slightly less than a Howitzer and is way less effective. So long as it's a shooter, I think I could learn to live...

Lefty!! ;) I would have to put that one on a diet at 12 pounds. However, the reflex sight probably doesn't even register on the scale.

    Fatboy Runs a 5k. Rome Zombie-Thon 2015

Hobbling around this week with a nail hole in my foot has been making me want to go walk around the block a few times. Partly because I need the exercise. And I'm sure it's partly because I can't walk right now.

Finishing an 80% lower on a drill press

Yeah- I've run a bridgeport before and this drill press doesn't have nearly enough power or speed to run an end mill very well. Even a new, sharp 4 flute bit.

Running a LIMITED EDITION Star Wars Patch

If they have the hook side of the velcro on the back of the patch, a piece of felt or some "speaker box" carpet works great for a large, inexpensive display. Stretch it over a light wood frame or plywood.

To get you started on a small edc

Nice little kit there! I'm not familiar with the Janus from Maxpedition- I'm going to have to look that one up. The only things I'd change is packing the loose things in a ziplock freezer bag or two. I always manage to get caught in the rain or falling into water. It's nice when the stuff...

Oh good grief... I guess just because you can means you should?
