So would the .40 folks prefer a .44 Mag? Personally, I don't want to stand in front of a 9mm or a .40 I realize that's not a fair standard to judge calibers, but I carry a 9mm and don't think more bullet is necessary. Thankfully, I've never had to find out if 9mm is insufficient.

While it is very possible to liquefy the internals with a gunshot, it takes a hell of a shock wave to do it. Saw my brother in law's doe last year- as soon as he cut up the belly, the insides literally poured out. It was about a 50 yard shot with a .300 Win Mag. There was almost nothing left...

Just did the same thing- locked the rate in today and we'll hopefully be closing by the end of January. Dumping this 120 year old POS that I can't use enough 4 letter words to describe and moving into a nice modern all brick house. I can't wait.
