    .22lr Pistol Host

Oh- and I'm a MKII junkie. My 22/45 Lite has been great. Only complaint is that the front sight screw works loose sometimes- and I've put locktite on it. One thing about shooting suppressed rimfire- it's a seriously dirty operation. After a few hundred rounds, that pistol looks like it's...

    .22lr Pistol Host

For what it's worth, I've had many more ammo related issues with .22 pistols than the pistols themselves. Except for that Walther P22. That thing was trash. I've heard they are hit or miss- the one I had was a solid miss.

    Glock Tactical Suppressor

And of course they made the damn thing square. If it were light enough, I doubt it would need a booster. Didn't watch the video- but it looks like it's plastic.

    Ultimate suppressed upper?

@Cudruln basically has it right- there are lots of NDI (non-destructive inspection) methods for metal, but each has their own cost. The least expensive, and highest tolerance is dye-penetrant inspection. Followed by mag particle inspection (the MPI you often see with AR bolts). The highest...

    Can Recs???

Damn guys- I've talked someone through a MK II re-assembly over the phone. Maybe I need to post a how-to thread.

    EoTech refund

Once upon a time, I did have one of the older N-type battery Eo Techs. Sold it for about a $100 loss because the batteries always died- and frankly, I just didn't use it enough to justify the red dot. I can't shoot a red dot of any brand worth a damn at 100 yards. Probably because that's not...

    EoTech refund

Don't have it yet... and now that you mention it- I don't have any confirmation that they received my optic. However, it's insured for $600, so I don't care if it gets lost in shipment. I will post an update when I hear something from them.

But then what would I do with my canned biscuits?

    Scout Rifle

I decided not to buy a Ruger Scout because of the 16"ish barrel- too short for .308 in my opinion. 18" on the Savage sounds much better. Also, was that a rear peep sight on the Savage? They didn't got into much detail, but I love a hooded aperture. It'd be really nice if it had the 1/2MOA...

    EoTech refund

I sent mine in back in December- don't recall exactly when. I had an XPS, but have similar complaints as @DarthVader above- the adjustment screws require a tool to turn (mine were tough to move, which is probably required) and there was no noticeable click. I had to watch the notch on the...

Is anyone else meh about suppressors?

If suppressors weren't regulated, I imagine we'd see them in blister packs hanging beside the $20 Tasco scopes at Walmart. Cheap thermoplastic things that you would use for a few hundred rounds and then trash them. Real hearing protection devices that everybody could use. And for this BS...

Is anyone else meh about suppressors?

After you start shooting suppressed, you get really pissed when folks show up at range with their noisy ass guns. I hate having to put my ears on when someone else shows up to shoot.

Is anyone else meh about suppressors?

I don't know why, but two things always fascinated me as a kid- suppressors and automatic out the front knives. Just always liked them. And I find the centerfire rifles much easier to shoot accurately with the can attached. The .308 bolt gun is a huge difference. The AR is different too- but...

    Obama addresses Class III

I'd have to ask how many of those killed were intentional- vs. the people that were just in the general area. Fully automatic weapons don't lend themselves to accuracy, particularly for those who aren't used to them. However my opinion is very limited- I've only fired a couple of FA...

    Can Recs???

I'd be glad to meet you at my gun club if you want to shoot a G17 with a Guardian 9 and Tirant 9. I've also got a .22 can that goes on my 22/45. You're welcome to shoot that one too. Just bring subsonic 9mm ammo- I'm running very low. .22LR doesn't matter- it's all quiet though the pistol...

Well that one won't be used in a liquor store hold up that's going to net like $150 or less.

    Obama addresses Class III

What a jackass. Yeah- the legal folks that jump through all the hoops are the problem. Sure... They should probably require passport photos and finger print cards for all the folks buying drugs too. Oh wait-

A cool way to carry and extra mag

You gotta try it to find out. Actually, it's a left over thing from back when I bought every accessory I could for a pistol... because I could I guess. Hell, I had a crimson trace grip on that G17 at one point. Sold that useless POS. The plug is just kind of a left over from my previous...

A cool way to carry and extra mag

Wow- I hope somebody gets rich off that idea. Pretty neat. But if I used it, I'd have to take my butt plug out.
