Sheesh- rough looking bolt catch. I have no problem with MIM for some parts. But it's not at all what I want to take the impact of a spring driven bolt/carrier on many, many cycles. Safety selector, probably fine. A part that routinely gets the crap beat out of it, no way.

I was going to SBR an AR lower. I decided to pin and weld that Grunt M to my 10.5 upper- provided it meets the 16" length requirement. Got it through @DoglegArms once it comes in, I'm going to see what kind of length I've got to work with.

At least I got some mileage out of my trust before it became too late. It probably saved me money considering the cost of photos and finger print cards. And I've got damn near every can I wanted.

I'm curious if the new flash hider has the "ring" after every shot... I've got plain old A2's on mine. Except for the ones with a suppressor mount- those are muzzle brakes (or is it breaks?)... I haaaate a muzzle break, but felt like it would make the Specwar baffles last longer. Build looks...

Interesting stuff... I don't think I have either- just a couple of old picatinny rails (however the hell you spell it).
