Gold has big upside right now. Two ways to get in. The obvious, buy gold. You could also purchase a gold etf like GLD, and have a more easily managed (more easily liquidated) stake in gold.

ARC22 quality cans were still $75-100 in France (totally de-regulated) back in 2005. In today's money that's about $122. There were centerfire suppressors on the shelf as well, all for sale with the same amount of paperwork as a candy bar. $250-$500 It's about the same.

I know they shoot well, I've just always been disappointed in their craftsmanship. Light, thin bluing or park, machine marks, burs on metal, just lower rung looking quality. Holding a savage rifle just doesn't feel like holding quality.
