I shot the second iteration at the range last weekend. It's about as good as a small lightweight .380 can get, but I've dumped them for the Lc9s. Personally, I believe the .380 ACP is just fine for SD, I'm just streamlining.

How long is your monocore? Nevermind, looks like it's about the same as mine. As long as I clean every 300 rounds or so, the dip works just fine. There are some deposits remaining, but not enough to worry about. If it ever gets really bad I'll salt blast it.

Honestly, those CZ barrels are so good I don't think I'd go the Lilja route. The barrel isn't the weakest link with those rifles..the ammo is. I think it'll shoot great in the "stock" configuration.

There's a lightly used Gen2 on the other site for $410. I almost bought it a couple days ago. Nevermind, it's gone.
