Just looking at the physics of it, it's going to recoil just about like a 38 spl +p in the same or similar revolver. Should be very manageable.
I really doubt I'll get one, but I like the idea a lot.
You can do it. You sure don't have to be skinny as a rail to be an excellent distance runner. A couple guys I run with are far from "petite", and I also run with one of the guy's dad (on the far left) who is 62 and still does very well (ran a 26 minute 5k a month ago in Candler Park on a super...
Try to incorporate some hills into your run too. It sucks, but you'll see nearly immediate improvement. In just a couple weeks you'll be able to tell a difference.
It takes time to get your body used to the abuse. Don't give up, it gets better trust me. I used to not be able to make it a mile before it felt like I was puking up my lungs covered in blood.
Yeah, I plan on the USP SD9 with the jet funnel kit. I can bump up capacity a bit with that. I think I've tried everything out there except Sphinx and the Arsenal Strike One (love to shoot one of those) and I keep going back to the USP.
I dunno, but the double walled version keeps it hot quite a long time. I think I could drive over my Friehling press too, it's just incredibly well built. Like safes, buy a size bigger than you think you'll need.
For one you won't scald your knuckles, for two...it's a double duty press that'll do "hot brew" much better since it has insulated walls, and three, they're incredibly well built and will last a lifetime.
