The perfect ammo for suppressor use?

Jokes on you, my pants are already down. It was a poke at any 45 guys in the thread btw. Waiting for someone to spout out that you don't need velocity with a bullet big enough to take your soul o_0 Sent from my Obamaphone on Tapatalk

The perfect ammo for suppressor use?

Weird, I'd think the added diameter of the projectile would slow the velocity by grabbing more of the rifling and thus creating more friction. Sent from my Obamaphone on Tapatalk

The perfect ammo for suppressor use?

Really really. Ive heard horror stories but never experienced it. Hell just to stay consistent with the data presented, 9mm specifically, I have probably shot some 8-10K rounds from glocks and sbr ar9 and have never so much and seen or head a piece of anything fly back my way. Btw, that sounds...

The perfect ammo for suppressor use?

Sure, I assumed that was unburnt powder from short barrels, not so much atomization of the tiny bit of exposed projectile not coated in copper or whatever they are coated in these days.

The perfect ammo for suppressor use?

Who shoots at steel indoors though? The study and data is all based on shooting steel targets specifically and not relevant to indoors bullet traps.

The perfect ammo for suppressor use?

Interesting, I didnt catch that part in the read. Is that an actual issue? Ive never heard any concern over it before.

The perfect ammo for suppressor use?

I didnt get the point of that data. Never have I ever had a fragment of anything hit me from thousands and thousands of rounds of 22/380/9/40/45/223/556/762x39/308 in any indoor or outdoor range with any type of backstop, including steel plates outdoors within the 15 yards they referenced. Hell...

The perfect ammo for suppressor use?

very interesting point I didnt think of. wouldnt want it melting the coating sitting in the chamber

The perfect ammo for suppressor use?

Seems like a good idea but only 12% less friction and only in the barrel doesnt seem significant to me... Also, "hot" primers that "burn more of the powder off" seems stone age to me. We could do that to a copper jacketed projectile now and get a cleaner burn for suppressor use. Also 'pinging'...

AAR: Combat Carbine Teamwork by Precision Applications

So this weekend I took the Combat Carbine Teamwork course with Rob Shepard (Shep) and his assistant Darren something (Jump) out in Jefferson on a badass private range. The course description is as follows: All drills will be running as 2-man teams, with some of the drills towards the end of...

    Do You Co-Witness

Yeah my G19 with an RMR has tall sights and its like a 1/3 cowitness. I also got the non adjustable one so it just works when i need it to and i dont have to dick with it. yes theyre different heights, and thats what dictates the absolute or co witness

    Do You Co-Witness

Except thats not always possible, like on the AKM platform for instance. For ARs sure I agree.

    Do You Co-Witness

With an AR it doesnt matter much since you can flip the sights down out of the way, I do prefer co witnessing though because it helps with initially trying to get dots sighted in and it also is harder to see your sights when theyre hugging the bottom of the red dot tube. just my 2 cents though...
