Martyn Ford - A Monster Badass

He's too tall. The serious powerlifting circuit is dominated by guys with as much, or more muscle than him that are 6' or under. In that first video, he's doing a rack pull at 675. I'm 266 and 6' even and I can usually pull 3 reps out at that weight. And I still need to drop 25lbs.

Ashton VSG and Cabinet tonight. I don't normally smoke Ashton. They're definitely good, they just don't tick all the boxes for me and the price is to steep to not check all the boxes. BUT, it was a charity event and the sticks were included in the ticket price so I suffered through it!

Uniformity mostly. My EDC is a Glock, but sometimes I get my hands on something else that doesn't have an LCI. Press check works for everything semi-auto. I don't use slide/bolt releases either.

    My EDC is a G19. I know there's a LCI. I still do a proper chamber check.

The only time I even remotely enjoy running is in the rain.

Taste is friggin beautiful, but I've yet to smoke one that didn't burn as crooked as Michael J Fox trying to draw a straight line.

And what about the scenario where the gun you thought was condition 1 turned out to be condition 3? That hollow click, screamed obscenity and racking of the slide is oddly just enough time to die. This isn't a basic gun safety poll.

How many of you do a chamber and mag check every time you grab your EDC? The question came to me last night. I stepped inside to grab something and left my EDC on my patio table (in a locked courtyard) I wasn't out of sight if the weapon, but I did have my back to it for a moment. When I went...

Shooting Clay Pigeons in a Ferrari

I've shot Turkey from a car travelling 55. Hitting targets from a car is hard. Hitting stationary targets from a helo is really hard. Hitting bobbing targets from a boat going 25kts in 6ft swells is intense.

No point in having fun toys if you don't do silly shit with them.

The cigar is Punch Signature, new in at one of my local shops. Not bad for the price ($7.25 for 6x60) But minor burn issues, I'll have to try another once they've had a chance to rest. The beer is the real star though. Stone Brewing Stochasticity Project Elderberry Ale. Bold, a little sour...

If you're a fan of heavier smokes, I'd go for the Double Ligero. It's a great intro to what La Flor is about. Should be ~$9.50 If you normally smoke lighter, go for the Air bender. It should be ~$10

They offer the chisel tip on the Chapter Series cigars, the Oro Tubo, their signature Double Ligero and the Air bender. The last one is the lightest of the bunch and on the heavier side of medium body.

La Flor Dominicana Chapter 1 Stock photo, but I do actually have that ashtray. Great stick, the patented (no shit, they actually have a patent) chisel tip intensifies things a bit but keeps it consistent and doesn't require a cutter. A quick squeeze to the tip of any of their chisel tip...
