    Compatibility

Just to be clear, are you talking about the PSA AR47, or are you speaking of their KS47? If KS47, it's not compatible

Ah, disregard this then, thought you meant x51

No, they're not compatible. Colt makes the 901 that can do this, but not aware of any others out there.

    Recipe Grilling steak for beginers

My personal preference is to take a 1.5" to 2" ribeye, rub with kosher salt, fresh ground black pepper and a dash of garlic and onion powder, let it sit until room temp. Get the grill up to 600-650 degrees (if on a gas / infrared grill, soak some wood chips, put in a small pan and wait until...

    40 vs 50mm objective

You may also want to check the mount height, the 50 will likely sit higher causing a possible issue with cheek weld

    40 vs 50mm objective

Don't think anyone disagrees that the quality of the glass and coatings are important, my only issue with his statement is that a larger objective increases fov, because it simply is not true.

    40 vs 50mm objective

That's not what he is saying.

    40 vs 50mm objective

Field of view is governed by the eyepiece and magnification, not the objective. The larger objective simply allows more light in, it does not affect fov.

    40 vs 50mm objective

Again, a larger objective lets more light in, it does not increase field of view

    40 vs 50mm objective

This is also misleading, larger objectives do not increase field of view

    Next is a 6.5G Build

So does the 6.5 face the same issues as the X39 round when it comes to bolt longevity?

    40 vs 50mm objective

If you don't mind the extra weight, the bigger diameter you can go, the better. Think of a scope like a camera F stop. The more light you can let in, the more clarity / detail you'll get, but, you pay out the ass for it.

    40 vs 50mm objective

It really depends on what you will be doing with the scope. If you're going to be using it in broad daylight at a reasonable distance, then you can stay light weight and go with 40. If you plan on shooting at distances over 100 yds at twilight or sunset, the larger 50mm will make sense, but...

I didn't want to have to do the leg work, but I guess I can try to pull it up ;) Honestly just curious to see if the numbers maintained up until Jan, or if they were already declining. I just don't trust the media
