After owning Springers, Kimber, Ruger, RIA & Sig, I've traded them all except the Sigs. I know some don't like the external extractors, but I love the triggers and smoothness of the Sigs. If I was getting another budget 1911, I would get another RIA in a heartbeat, the 3 I've had were all great...

Might have been 8 rounds, I'd have to go back and look, but I know folks have had success with standard GI mags

I think I read that you can use regular mags reliably as long as you don't load more than 10, haven't tried it though
