    Yeah, bought this tree when i lived in the 100 year old house with 12 ft ceilings. Now the star won't fit on top. I offered to cut the bottom post off to make room. But my wife said there'd be no room for gifts... i said that's ok... and got a dirty look.

    Yeah, sour mash... just can't do it. We used to ferment corn for catfish bait (as in general area bait). Every time i smell jack daniels, that's all i can think about.

    I bought a WEN copy of a Honda eu2000 inverter generator. If we have a major storm outage, i can keep the fridge and freezer cold.

    I've been thinking about this giant battery banks Generac has. It won't run indefinitely like a whole house generator, but will get through outages. Cheaper too.
