Agreed Dave. I am thinking about getting one for my mother. She is 80 and right now she has my old reliable Charter Arms 38. If she ever had to shoot it she would probably only get off one shot with her tired old hands. Thinking about getting one for her and letting my sister have the 38.

I agree to everything you said Slowhand. I found that link by doing a Google search of Executive Order vs. Executive Action. Did not find much worth looking at but that one was at least worth reading.

I think right now we are forced to shoot what we already have in stock at our house or what we can find. I don't think any of the president's plans include taking away .22 ammo but people are panic buying that too.

I think the actual gun control measures will have a tough time making it through Congress. Most of the invasion to our privacy measures will sail through Congress or by EO. Just my opinion of course.

Most of us are not very objective when it comes to our 2nd Amendment rights and the people that wish we didn't have them.

Of course they could only enforce that after some kind of event, but judging by the number of gun laws on the books they mostly care about writing them. I think everybody should store their guns in a safe manner, but I am pretty well tired of feel good laws.

BTW, I am 49. School was a long time ago. Funny how we still remember. :D

Thanks Tarheel. I am not sitting here with my panties in a wad or anything. Skip can obviously do what he sees fit doing. It just felt a little like school. Skip shows up and everybody starts whistling and talking about high prices and safes. ;D
