I think that most of the excess gas will go out ejection port and some down the lower at the magazine connect. Depending on your gas block you may see some sign of a small leak there. The WAR upper allows less wear and recoil also about 2db quieter at the shooters ear.

I wouldn't add adj gas block to 300 blk either I didn't and had no issues running a 16" pistol gas set up. The barrel was radical firearms and gas port .106 ran flawless on milspec lower with carbine buffer I used on my 556

Hey @Leshaire the WAR will not work with 300 BLK to my knowledge someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I think not.

I would say overgassed if the shells are thrown at 1-2 o'clock they are hitting the deflector harder causing dents and thrown forward. I had the same issue with a comercial buffer and switched out to milspec it's been fine. I also use a BCM mod 3 CH does wonders for that gas in the eye. Heavy...

It's in the video on the 10.5 pistol Nolan built he was talking about it being good about keeping on target with it. I don't think it's for a suppressor though

The Surfire comp kept the pistol flat and on target I thought he said too if you were still looking for a device to put on it.

Some good points made already. @NolansMindset built a 10.5 with the Surefire device on it. There's a video on here testing the Echo trigger install I'm sure he could be of some help here as well.

This would go perfect with the Magpul X22 stock. Put a red dot and backpack that rifle. Way to go @KGmade always raising the bar higher.
