I have an AAC cyclone and my precision 5.56 guns are threaded 5/8x24 so I don't have to use an adapter......which is all a mount really is.

Honestly I never liked the FDE cerakote on it in the first place. Jake didn't tell me it was FDE when I bought it and I didn't find out until I picked it up 5 months later. I just never cared enough to have it removed. I like my current plan of burning it off. :thumb:

I wouldn't have thought so either, and still don't know if that is what did it. I just noticed that when I mag dumped a mag of tracers, the cerakote burned off my can. Was it the tracers that did it, I wouldn't think so, but it never happened in the past so I don't know......

Total saturday, or how many to cook the cerakote? Only took one mag dump to cook the cerakote, but I think they may have been tracers.

the fact that it looks sexy as hell on an SBR helps too. Semi related, I managed to kill the battery in my PRO in less that 24 months. Guess I need to swap the battery annually rather than every two years.

Burned the cerakote right off. LOL.
