Any reason why i shouldn't shoot steel case through this? Is there any ammo that y'all know about that works better with a 7.5" barrel? I'll get my new tube on Monday and it should be fully functional. Now i gotta take it out and get running. I haven't decided what ammo to shoot.

It wasn't working before I even took the shockwave out of the package. The tube is too short. That's my novice opinion.

I just figured it out I think. The inside of the tube is only 6 3/4 inch. My other ar it's 7. It seems like this tube wasn't drilled out deep enough.

I just tried it with my other ar. It is Definitely something with the tube, buffer, or spring. Even with it open the big doesn't go down far enough,in the tube. I tried every combo. Nothing worked with this lower.

When I screwed in the tube I went too far the first time and the upper wouldn't close on the lower so I had to back it out 1 spin.

Put it together finally. It sucked. Roll pin for the gas block was a bitch. Does anyone know how long the buffer and buffer spring are supposed to be for a pistol? It won't lock to the rear. Other than that it seems good.

There are cabins for rent on every lake in America. Sounds like it would be a good time. I know there are some in the mountain in North Georgia. The Appalachian trail starts up there so the hiking should be good.
