    Yeah, I'll reserve judgement till i get the chance to use them. But first impressions definitely go to the HD's Much nicer finish and just seem nicer overall. But they are about 40-50 more then the idots

    The rear sight looks slightly taller on the right when I point at close target. Looks fine at distance though. I've measured with a level the best I could and it appears to be just an optical illusion. I'll try to get some calipers to measure just to be sure.

    I've got a pair of peltor comtac 3's that I acquired during deployment and couldn't be happier. Recently bought the peltor rang guard for my wife from walmart and they work great and are streamlined.

    I keep a couple cases in the basement next to MREs and ammo. Fortunately I have a creek that runs down off the mountain only about a quarter mile away if that far.
