    Thanks for the input. My wife shot the HDs this past weekend and she seems to like them better then the Wilson combat sights she has on her 19. So I figured I'd take them off mine and put on hers. Which lead me to find a replacement.

    I'm surprised the vickers models didn't have the grooves taken off. According to video vickers has posted he's not a fan of the finger grooves.

    The sailor involved with the Chattanooga shooting is in this very situation and the Navy is keeping it quiet. My biggest question is who actually killed the shooter.... Usually when it's the cops they'll be the first to scream it from the mountain top.

    I don't think there would be a set time considering that there are still Gen 1's out there still running where as some gen 2,3,&4 have already cracked. I think it's more about round count/type.
