    Man purse

HOG2K, I get what you're saying. I should have clarified a bit. If an individual is simply doing a snatch and grab of a bag/purse there is no justification for lethal force. When that snatch and grab now involves a weapon, case law has shown that any struggle over a weapon is considered a...

    Man purse

I do not. I'm not a fan of off body carry. If a would be criminal tries to snatch it, you are immediately in a fight for your gun. If on body carry isn't an option I can understand, but it's not for me.

    Best deals on ammo

I reload 9mm and .45, which is always cheaper than factory rounds. I usually hunt for good deals on PMC Bronze .223 and .308 for rifle. Can't say I have a "go to" place for ammo. I go for a good deal whenever I find it.

    The ar15 pistol...why?

David, To keep things relatively simple: <16" barrel + buttstock =SBR <16" barrel, no buttstock, no VFG=pistol <16" barrel, no buttstock, +VFG=AOW. "No buttstock" generally means a pistol buffer tube which cannot accept a rifle stock. Receivers are now their own item on the 4473...

What position do you concealed carry in?

Depends on the clothing. I'm either strong side 3/4 O'clock or appendix. Occasional pocket carry when the occasion calls for it.

Best handguns for concealed carry in ohio

Ok. I ask because I'd challenge the Beretta PX4. Having carried an M9 on deployment and trained with it extensively I can testify that slide mounted safties like the M9, PX4, Ruger P89/90/95/345, and the like are terrible. Not ergonomic at all and unless you rack the slide in a specific manner...

Best handguns for concealed carry in ohio

@David , Is your list based of personal experience with each gun or a combination of experience and research via articles, magazines, etc.?

Best handguns for concealed carry in ohio

I own both a G42 and G43. I opt for the G42 for pocket carry/deep concealment because while the measurements on paper are very very close between them, with what I generally wear the is a significant difference in ease/speed of draw with the G42 due to it's slightly smaller size. Neither the...

Best handguns for concealed carry in ohio

G19 and G42. Those two will fit any purpose and any season. I carry my G19 nearly all year long unless I need to pocket carry. Simple, reliable, combat accurate. As good as it gets in my opinion. Just curious, were the guns in your article based on your experience or research?

How do you value a old firearm

I use a combination of Blue Book, forums, and other websites. I have found that while Blue Book is usually fairly accurate, occasionally it can be WAY off of what actual market value is. Forums usually have one or members that are big C&R guys that are a great resource for determining value...

    Used Gun Prices Are Insane

In general accessories don't add much to the gun, especially handguns. It's different when you're talking rifles with scopes, bipods, etc. The one that always kills me is someone selling a used glock with holster and want $50 more than the price of the gun new. Holster don't add anything...
