Sure he did! He said he got rid of one of his bulky Nagants and replaced it with a smaller Savage. Isn't that how you're supposed to make room in a gun safe? :-\ Nice rifle, Slowhand. I was planning to get a Savage until I stumbled on a deal on the Remington.

Please keep me updated and let me know what you think about Sharpshooter. I've got a few months before I have to decide on a scope/mounts and I want to get real opinions, not just what is printed in a magazine with full page ads for the same scope being reviewed.

Ron, glad to hear your initial impressions are good. I have used mine very day since I bought it, and I'm still impressed. I carry it all the time; it disappears in my pocket. Wonder when ol' Verticoli will get his? He's going to be looking forward to going to his mailbox for a few days!
