Wtf is this crap. http://solventcatcher.com/

A cleaning aid to catch the cleaning solutions? I wonder what the idea here is? You buy what is basically a suppressor, and then what? Does some easy to find piece act as an end cap but with a bullet hole in it for those that want to break federal law?

That's the way I see it. I think it's legal as long as the endcap doesn't have a hole in it.
Right, that is correct. But my point is, what is someone going to do with that shit? Poke a hole in it and avoid a tax stamp? I guess... Idk. Seems pretty clear of their intentions. How come Sig and that other guy cant produce muzzle devices that are similar to the internals of a suppressor but this company can literally make suppressors minus one hole lol...

Whats the advantage for the end user then. Still paying the $200 tax stamp but with likely a shittier can and you have to drill the end cap yourself...

I wonder how many people that have been convicted of owning an unregistered suppressor would pay $200 to get out of their felony?

These are made by idiots for idiots.

I fixed your question for you. The number is pretty small. Not worth the risk to me, but it's still a very low number.

Yeah it's small, but the consequences outweigh any benefits. Of that small number of people, I'll bet 100% regret not paying the tax.

By what, a couple weeks? Meh imo. Id rather spend the extra $100 on a higher quality name brand can and wait another month personally. Oh wait, I did do that lol.

Dobbs can is about the same price from @DoglegArms if I remember correctly. It comes with a warranty.

True. Mine is also FA rated all the way up through 5.7 and is insanely quiet on pistols so maybe not an apples to apples comparison.

for the cost of them it makes zero sense, but I've seen a bunch that were significantly cheaper, like a lot of the ones that use a maglight tube. all are not worth the risk in my opinion. Now they also have the ones that just allow you to thread on an oil filter and you use to be able to get them for less than 20 bucks, I could see someone getting one of those and throwing it in a prepper pack

It is one stupid decision away from losing all your rights as a human. Not worth the risk in my book.

The tax on supressors is unconstitutional, but attempting to overturn the law or paying the tax makes an awful lot more sense then being defiled in prison.

I think the NFA is BS, but the tax on cans is not un-constitutional.
