Today I am still rockin the XDS45. I planned to give it a workout at the range this morning but the pistol range was busy with a competition.

I regularly carry an XDs45 in my right front pocket.

Carried my Springfield Armory XD .45 compact yesterday out for supper. It is not hard to conceal IWB, with a forward cant, in a custom holster from a guy in Texas.

It is a double stack 10+1 with the short mag. It also has a 13 round extended mag, but that is a tad too long, unless you wear a coat or something. With a loose cover shirt the 10 round mag is pretty easy to hide. Heavier than my LC9, but manageable with a double layer belt from the same guy in TX.

I think I'm going to carry it much more. I like having 10+1 of .45 with me.

My Seecamp was in my back pocket as well.

I carry my XD9sc IWB on weekends quite a bit, and agree that it conceals quite well with a t-shirt untucked. That's what I have on now, as the ankle that sports my LCP on workdays, has a big ice bag on it right now. Not a great way to start the week....

lws380--If I can carry the xd9 double stack, I should be able to conceal the xd45, right? I really want a 45acp, and not sure I want to settle for the single stack.

Aimless1,
I have the xd9 double stack 16+1. The grip is kind of long, and not as easy to hide compared to a shorter grip. The xd .45 compact gives you 10+1 in the short mag and 13 in the extended mag (a full grip). Shorter mag makes concealment easier.

The XDS .45 is a single stack and very comfortable. Can get a 5,6,and 7 round mag for it. Very similar in size of the LC9 single stack.

A loaded double stack .45 might be heavier due to heavier mags, depending on capacity.

I have both the Xds in .45 and the xd .45 compact, and a springer .45 1911. I like options!

lws380,
I like options too!
Various size carry choices to fit the day.

The xd9 subcompact has 13+1 which is the way I carry it, but with the extended mag--16+1 is nice at the range.
But a .45acp........
I'll have to handle one of each, the single and the double stack. Thanks for the comparison.

Lately I have been open carrying my XDs in a Barsony IWB holster between my waist band and belt. Very comfortable. By the way, no one seems to pay attention to it.
