If they weren't so tightly regulated, I firmly believe they'd be hanging on the hooks in a blister pack next to the cheap scopes. They should be made of light weight polymer and you just throw it away after a few hundred rounds or over heating it... and then go buy a replacement hearing-safety-device for sub $20.

Not afraid to admit that idea gives me a chub.

You guys should check out the NFAFA (NFA Freedom Alliance).

I think it's ridiculous that cans, SBR's and SBS's are NFA items. It's time to do some amending the the gun control act.
I agree with this! The only reason for SBR's and SBS's is the fact that they are supposedly easier to conceal, thus more likely to be used in a crime. Handguns are concealed easily and can be legally carried so with a permit. Why not SB'd firearms. Suppressors really will not hide a crime as most criminals would not use them if they are concealing their weapon!

Yes, absolutely. There is no reason beside the tax money and just plain control to have these as NFA items.
Meh, if it was about the money, I seriously doubt it would have stayed at $200 for the past 81 years; it's all about "control"

Give it until the next election and I bet we'll be paying for a $200 stamp to purchase a 30rnd mag or reload our own ammo :smash:
Well this is why you join the NRA and keep up with what's going on, write reps and so on. AND I might add, why you go to the same effort for things that don't personally concern you.

Because if you don't we see green tip is allowed but 7n6 isn't, for reasons? Ridiculous.
