I have a Guide Gun in 45-70 with a Lane Scorpion. It makes 45-70 fun, not laborious to shoot. It is far from whisper quiet, but is decently suppressed. If I could have talked Brian into converting it to takedown, I would have. He said, "I don't really do that as much anymore..."

None. Barrel twists are too slow in most to stabilize heavy subs.

Get a Deerfield carbine or 77/44
