The LCP easily has the worst trigger of any gun I've ever fired. It has a false reset. Apparently you have to go to the 2nd click. Stupid.

I think pocket carry is a bad idea.
It may shift around and if it's in a holster and in your pocket, makes it more difficult to draw, at which point it makes it easier to carry IWB or OWB.
The small guns I carry are:
Kahr MK9 or MK40
Boberg XR9S
Walther PPK .32 (German)
All are too heavy for pocket carry, but in my opinion all are far superior to any $250 pocket crap gun. Yes they cost more. But they are precision pieces that always work.
If I HAD to pocket carry a cheap gun, it would probably be a Beretta 21A loaded with Aguila Interceptor, which being that it's only a .22lr with a 2.4" barrel it still provides excellent repeatable performance.
Here's a 5 shot average taken by a friend recently:

Why not the Aguila Super Max? Even being 10 grain weight less than the Interceptor, it hits with a few more pounds of energy and still the fastest .22 ammunition on the market.

Because I think penetration would be the only thing that can be expected or usable out of a short barrel .22lr, and so the interceptor is superior in that regard.
From the 21A I think it managed 17" with interceptor and about 11" with supermax

Those are sweet, but too much for me. That 327 is what I want, or hell even the 22mag

It's actually not that bad at all (to me anyways). I'm not at all recoil sensitive though. I keep it loaded with this...

I'm not either, but the only 357 I have ever shot was an airweight; it wasn't a painful experience, but no way in hell I could put rounds down fast with it. But alas, that 327 is dear to my heart for some reason. 327 Fed Mag, 32 H&R mag, 32 S, 32 L, and supposedly 32acp all work in it.

LCRs have great triggers!
