I have nib bcg and it is way easier to clean. That being said I havent had any issues with the original bcg. So far I feel like it just allows me to be lazy with the cleaning. Lol

I should have addedthat I never used fireclean or any newer type of lube just rem oil. The nib is much quicker to clean than original.

there have been reports of nib bolts being out of spec and thus non-functional because of the coating being too thick. why pay more for this possibility?

if you like the look and have the money...more power to ya but I shy away from them.

I like the cryptic coatings because it's such a thin coating that it he minimal to no effect on spec size.

I played with their copper color coated bolt and it seemed very nice.

I've played with a pvd / dlc coated carrier before. They're very nice, but basically the same as nitride aside from the colors. They're very nice, but damn expensive.
