Let's say I'm building a go to war, badass AR-15. I've got the upper, lower, trigger, muzzle break/flash hider, barrel, LPK rail, buffer, etc. selected. However I need recommendations on a few key parts.

If you were a manufacturer and you wanted to build the baddest ass, go to war AR-15, what parts listed below would you choose to use?

• Stock

• Sights

• Grip

*no Magpul crap... I'm over that.

I run my rifles pretty much bone stock, like a issue M4, But there is one thing I add to all of my AR's and thats a BMC Gunfighter charging handel. I do like the Magpul MOE + grip over the standard issue A2/M4 grip.

I'd go with everything stock, and a grip that fit's your hand well. You've covered the important components already, the rest is just o make the rifle fit you.

I've been a fan of the Houge grips but can't speak to how they hold up in a heavy-use environment.

I prefer stocks that have a larger cheek weld, like the Magpul ACS, but if you're over Magpul stuff, that won't help

If you want a good war ready AR it's easy:

Join Army
Become infantry
Go to war

jk.

I dunno. Aimpoint. I like the Troy Diopter metal flip sights....or any equivalent. Otherwise that other stuff is personal preference.

I dig the Battlearms Development grip bc you can set it at three different angles. Their stuff is good quality too.

I'm liking the Troy dioptic sight for quick acquisition so far, need to get over to Charlie Elliot to see how well they work at 100

Remember guys... I'm ONLY looking for recommendations on the following three items for a go to war gun:
  • STOCK
  • SIGHTS (not an optic)
  • GRIP

I actually really like the Magpul MOE grip. I guess they've kind of become ubiquitous, but even if a lot of people have them I still like them.

Stock: Probably just a standard CAR 6 position, my favorite when not bench shooting

Sights: Troy, MI, or equivalent. All have been great. No problems with any of them.

Larue grips are my favorite. All my stocks are magpul, except the fixed a2.
I like the fsb and fixed carry handle for utilitarian purposes.
