Its a lot more practical than our open bolt 10/22 for sure. Slower rate of fire and less ammo picky. I need to convert a few more lowers too
"Practical" and "open bolt" don't belong in the same sentence.

How difficult would an integral .22LR AR barrel be to make out of curiosity?

Now if we could only get them to wear a SET shirt on their channel and give us a shoutout as well as get them over here as members... been talking to Chad and Brandy for some time about it...just can't seem to get on the same page.

Hey, a bunch of mgs operate with an open bolt. Its actually really practical to keep rounds from cooking off in a hot barrel :p

I havent played with many 22lr AR15 barrels, but it looks like most of them are pretty thin profiled or the standard "M4" profile.
So it would have to be a custom run of barrels, but im sure our barrel supplier could to it.

I get that open bolt is a great system for machine guns. I meant that you don't need to find a practical purpose for an open bolt machine gun.
