We have all bought guns (except Laufen who is perfect of course) that we later regretted. What guns did you hate the most and why?

For me its:

Taurus TCP - 380 blows, the DAO trigger pull was like 'dragging dead hooker through train track', and it was hard as crap to rack without a bullet getting hung up on the feed ramp.

Sig P250 - Another DAO that was more miserable to pull than having each one of my buttcheek hairs pulled out individually.

Mossberg 500 - Does anyone actually like 12 gauge? Miserable to shoot, not fun in any way to me, low capacity, didn't see a real need for it.

I like 12 gauge shotguns, mainly the Beretta 391. It's definitely my favorite for upland game.

Guns I don't like (that I've owned) hmm. I don't really dislike any, but these are the closest @Leshaire ;)

FN FiveseveN - Easily the least accurate pistol I've ever owned, and I really, really wanted to love it.

Marlin 444P Outfitter. Poor Trigger, Coarse sights. Looks sexy though, and I like the .444 Marlin cartridge..

Ruger 10/22 - Poor trigger, short length of pull, chunky fore end. It requires $300-$500 worth of upgrades to make it shootable.

WOW im surprised to hear that about the 5.7. As a matter of fact, I feel like weve talked about this in the past. Not sure off hand. A buddy rented one once and I shot like three rounds out of it, all three were like within a quarter at 21'.

I enjoy my 10/22, and have had two. Both triggers seemed fine to me for a $200 gun... I put a $100 KIDD barrel, extended mag release, bipod, rings, and a scope for like maybe another $100 on it and its quite the little squirrel destroyer. That for $400 ish doesnt seem bad to me. (Well add $500 for a can and stamp lol)

Maybe I got a bad 5.7, I don't know. I'm no Annie Oakley, but I can hold my own with a pistol and that thing shot patterns not groups. At 25 meters I was shooting 8" groups with the 5.7 (or worse), and I picked up the HK USPT and had holes touching. Both $1200 guns, and not even close accuracy wise.

Taurus top .380 by far the worst. Great for concealment but after that it is lacking a lot.

They appeal to the type of person that would go to home depot for a good set of tools, and come home with a crescent wrench and a pair of vice grips..

ARs appeal to the type of person that would go to a Cabelas for a sweet new camo PFG, and come home with a M&P sport, a Yeti and the PFG...

I have to say the Ruger P94 I had. It was heavy shit and shot the same.
Also the Walther P22 I had, Jam O matic!
My Walther P22 is great suppressed and not. Never one single malfunction in like 2000 rounds believe it or not.

Small guns seem to be notoriously unpopular for actual shooters.

The new LC9s shoots great, and has a really nice trigger. I shot the Russian's over the weekend. It's a ragged hole shooter at 7 yards.
