Hmmm, not loving the red dot mount that came with the SOCOM. With the vortex venom installed, the irons are completely obstructed...
not good , Quick release mount?
This mount isn't. It fits on a dovetail on the back of the rear sight.
Looks like it's pretty much OOS everywhere as an individual parti would sell it

That dovetail thingie is the clip guide mount.
I bought a clip guide for mine and took off the scope rail. I just like have clippies.
I put a full size red dot on the scout rail, and bought an extender that's completely open underneath so I can still use the irons.

I was gearing toward one of those but have you read all the problems ppl are having with them? When they first came out, all 3 cars given to journalists broke down iirc.
