Truth. I believe Promag actually has a goal of trying to build a magazine that will fail consistently for every weapons platform in existence.
Well, they haven't succeeded yet.
I have 4 Promag M1A mags, and they've been good (so far).
But, they are steel, rather than plastic.
A lot better than the plastic Thermolds that I got with it. One has cracked lip; it and at least one other will pop out rounds at the drop of a hat. Won't hold more than about 15.

I stippled the lower section of this one and a couple more, and they’re working fine.

***Key thing is to lose them occasionally in your pile of mags and swap them out fairly often. But I bought 10 for $3/ea so I don’t care what happens to them.

That's one of the better looking stipple jobs I've seen. Actually looks like factory.
