I’ve been hearing of this “right wing extremism” or “radical conservatives” more and more recently. The problem I have is the word “radical” comes from the Latin word radix(root).
So, if by radical, they mean: traditional families, observing the constitution in the manner and interpretation of which it was written, innocence until proven guilty of a crime, helping your neighbors, defending innocent life and opposing evil, not being a busy body, etc, etc. all of these traits and values are getting to the “root” of the issue. It’s the source of all inherent goodness our country has ever achieved, which is why our countries “Leaders” hate it so much. 3F71E90E-3FA5-4160-96FD-8AD3F3308014.jpeg

Well we finally hit a lull at work and we're doing 8hr days for the next 3 weeks at least.

For the first time since before Christmas I'm going to actually have a Friday. Not a "maybe you'll work tomorrow" Friday, but an actual legit "know I'm off for 2 days starting at 2:15pm tomorrow" Friday.

Change of plans. They laid me off instead lol.

The word "radical" has several long standing and accepted meanings dependent on context, so try not to be too etymologically myopic.
I get the overall gist of what you're trying to convey though - progressivists are masters of word games and warping language. Kind of crazy to think about how they apply political principles to language and word usage.
