The Monarch line is decent.

I don’t understand why Nikon dropped scopes from the line up.
I snagged 2 a few years ago, maybe when they were discountinuing. That would explain the low price. One for PTR32 and another for RA.
I don't really understand it either since they still make binoculars & spotting scopes. @Jstegman1, nikon scopes show up for sale used on ebay quite often.
I have a $50 Simmons 4x on a plain Jane 10/22. It's good out to 50 yards. Guess that doesn't answer much, but whatever.
I wish I would have had enough sense to buy a couple of the monarch’s back then. They would be great as 300BLK, 350Legend, 450 bushmaster glass.
Not to mention really good 22 glass.
