First I've heard of an ALG drop in trigger.

Yea I dunno... I think they're just calling it a drop in for some reason. Looks like all the ones I've installed and they don't just drop in like a modular AR trigger. There's multiple parts and several springs involved.

Put a cap from the cleaning kit over the spring ends.

Caps pop off and just make the springs angrier. Use a twist tie for 100% guaranteed safety

I'm familiar with the Enhanced and Ultimate models but this was the first time I've heard of "drop in".

I just checked ALG's website and they only have the two with no mention of "drop in".

Based on the price I'd say it was the Enhanced model.
