I just finished putting the bike and vanity together. The brakes were a PITA. They're still not 100% but they'll be good enough until I can fuck with them some more. What made it worse is it's a BMX bike with one of those things that you can flip the handlebars around without the brake cables twisting(I forget what it's called), so there are like 20 adjustment points for the rear brakes.

Ugh.... bikes. I hate getting the brakes adjusted.

Stick a penny on either side of the rim between the pad and clamp or rubber band it tight. Adjust all cables accordingly.

Use a combo wrench to hold the caliper centered and tighten up the nut.

Ok, growing up, Santa gifts were unwrapped like @Chainsaw is showing.

My wife's family the opposite - Santa wrapped all his gifts.

Same. Santa unwrapped, fam wrapped. Wife was the opposite as well.
