Got a new artist lined up, local. Books open in January for Feb-March. Quoted me about 15 hours-ish, which is what I had planned on

Yeah the other guy was 30 hours @$215/hour.
This guy is 15ish hours, 2 full days @$1200/day. Said he may need another half day on top of that. Beats the hell out of 10 3 hour sessions.

Right. It was gonna cost me about 50 hours of travel time and $500 in gas!
Many, many years ago, when I started in guns, I decided that 5.45x39 was not viable long term in US.
I might be wrong, but a decision was made. And it is too late to diversify now. 5.45 did not become popular till after 7n6 was banned from import.
