Thanks, I got to get dude to bump his cash boot up for the akm
I may take it in an check it out then try to trade for another Makarov or sell it here cheapish.

Were there any recalls or multiple gens?

Two gens. Both are great pistols. First gen is an Ambi safety, but pretty it's stiff and also a very aggressive texturing on the grip (some people complained) so with the second gen they changed the safety to reversible one sided and then changed up the grip texture.

I owned one, they are extremely crisp oem triggers and easy to shoot.

I have a p01 and love it but it's been cajunized by a CZ Smith and was his personal carry pistol, so it's had everything possible done to it plus a slide cut for 1911 Novak rear.

Tried a p07, liked everything but the grip texture.
CZ grip ergonomics are great, just ate my hands up

So Gen 1 is on the left Gen 2 on the rt. The backplate would slide down so they fixed it with the extra slot on the rt. Both are Czech made imports. They also changed the ambi mag release to a single side but reversible mag release. Gen 3 can be made in USA like the optic ready versions.

I'll have to see what gen he has

CZ needs to put replaceable grips on their poly guns.
One reason I don't care for poly pistols
I really love the factory CZ rubber grips on my p01 and my love my CZ DW 1911cco that has smooth chain link too.
I have gentle lovers hands, ha ha

CZ p10c an ok striker fired gun?
Or just another turd like every other striker fired

I like mine a lot. Shoots better than most of my other poly pistols.

And now i need to go look at my slide... i had no idea about the different generations. But I've never had an issue after about 1k rounds.
