You were right. I went back and read it again. Dunno what I read the first time lol
Auctual it's a rare factory modification that removed the need to manually cock before employment of the WMFD. Very few were actually factory installed. I have a complete unit that I believe, based on thread wear on an unused hole that was for the manual cocker, is a factory installed one. Unfortunately a piece of the bakelite on this one is cracked but a do have a perfect factory replacement.
